I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Houston-Clear Lake and my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. I completed the professional coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Master’s level at Florida Institute of Technology in order to obtain a Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
I am a member of local and national professional organizations, including Southeast Texas Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, and Texas Association of Applied Behavior Analysis.
My primary goal as a therapist is to help my clients reach their maximum potential by more effectively negotiating the circumstances that interfere with their lives. I hope to broaden my clients' perspectives during their challenging moments to help them stay connected to their values and continue moving towards their goals. I believe with therapy, that a healthy, fulfilled life can be achieved.
I specialize in working with children and families that live with autism spectrum disorder and other behavior disorders, as well as adults and adolescents who experience anxiety, depression, relationship issues and family conflict. I have a passion for teaching evidence-based techniques using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help individuals cope with challenging situations more effectively.
