Ron Graeflin was the second and last child born to Walt & Iris Graeflin. Ron was age 4 when he prayed to ask Jesus to forgive him and be his Savior. His life with Jesus has been so blessed that he wants to help many children to experience the exceptional life of living for Jesus and help leaders of all ages to share the Bible message.
Ron graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a major in Elementary Education. For three years during college, he was the pianist for the Collegiate Quartet ministering in churches on the weekends and to youth camps in the summer.
The summer after graduating from Olivet, Ron volunteered in a summer youth mission project in the Dominican Republic where God began to reveal a call to children’s ministries. It was soon thereafter that he accepted God’s call to be the children’s pastor in Decatur, Illinois, and later at Muncie, Indiana, Phoenix, Arizona, and Flint, Michigan.
Ron began as children’s pastor at Living Word Church of the Nazarene on July 21, 2008. Ron married his best friend, Sheryl Bitner. They have two children named Zac and Abby and a dog named Bandit.
Ron enjoys dates with his wife; family activities, helping at home, reading, a good movie, exercising, praying with his family, and helping children, their families, and their leaders grow in Christ.
